How much does house cleaning cost in Texas?
A Standard Recurring Clean in Texas starts from $179 per visit, as of September 2026, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and how often you book set the final number, fixed before the visit. Homesheen quotes one flat price per visit and never an hourly rate, the quote is fixed before we start, and booking starts with a call to (877) 549-4411. We do not advertise affordable house cleaning; we publish the price.
Houston's metro sits above the rest of the state, and two services run higher than a standard visit: Deep Cleaning costs from $249 because it adds the inside of the oven and fridge, baseboards and cabinets, and Move In / Move Out costs from $289 because it covers an empty home cleaned wall to wall.

Price my homeHourly rate vs per visit
Is $50 an hour a good rate for house cleaning, and what does three hours buy?
An hourly rate only tells you what you pay if the job runs long. Three hours at $35 is $105, but the same home that takes a first-time house cleaner three hours takes a crew who knows it two, and the price you were quoted is not the price you pay either way.
Homesheen quotes the visit, not the hour. A Standard Recurring Clean is one number for the whole home, set from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often we come, and it does not move once we are inside. Two of us on a 2,000 square foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a visit of about three hours the first time and closer to two on a schedule; the number stays the same.
So the honest comparison is per visit. Take any hourly quote, multiply by the hours the cleaner expects, and put it next to the Texas ranges above. If the hourly total is lower, ask what happens when it takes longer.
Texas homes
What is different about cleaning a home in Texas?
Dust and hard water are what change a house cleaning in Texas, with dry summers, live oak pollen in March and mineral scale on fixtures throughout the state.
Around Dallas and Austin, dust and hard water scale build up between visits, and bathrooms take the longest to clean. Tile and vinyl plank floors run throughout, carpet in the bedrooms adds vacuum time, and a covered patio brings in extra dirt.
Along the Gulf Coast, around Houston, humidity runs high through the year and brings mildew into bathrooms and closets, with salt air on windows near the water. Floors are tile and vinyl plank, and the attached garage entry tracks in mud after downpours.
In the High Plains, around Lubbock and Amarillo, wind and dust settle on every surface within days, and hard water scale builds in the bathrooms. Floors mix tile and carpet with vinyl in the kitchen, and the covered patio and detached shop add another dusty entry. Homes across Texas book their first visit from March to April, after the oak pollen drops.

What lands on the invoice
Is the quote the final price, or does anything get added?
The number we quote is the number on the invoice. It already covers the crew, the cleaning supplies and equipment we bring, and any sales tax that applies to residential cleaning in Texas; nothing is added afterward, and there is no travel fee inside the service area. If a visit runs longer than we planned, that time is our cost. The only way the figure changes is if you change the order: a Deep Cleaning instead of a Standard Recurring Clean, or a different frequency, and you see the new number before we come.

Why Homesheen
What is different about a Homesheen house cleaning in Texas?
Three things, and they hold in every city we work in. The quote is one flat number for the visit, built from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often we come, and it does not move once we are inside. On a recurring plan the same crew comes every visit, so nobody relearns your kitchen. And there is no contract: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning, and you stop when you want.
We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment: vacuum, mop, the products for kitchens and bathrooms. Laundry, organizing and exterior windows are not part of any visit, and the city pages list exactly what is, as a cleaning checklist for a Standard Recurring Clean and a Deep Cleaning. We do not promise a spotless home or that we go above and beyond; we promise the list, and if a spot on it was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it.
