Cost by region
How much does house cleaning cost in Delaware?
A Standard Recurring Clean in Delaware starts from $209 per visit as of September 2026, and bedrooms, bathrooms and how often you book set the final number, fixed before the visit. Homesheen quotes one flat price per visit and never an hourly rate, the quote is fixed before we start, and booking begins with a call to (877) 549-4411. We do not advertise affordable house cleaning; we publish the price.
The Philadelphia metro, which reaches into Delaware, and the rest of Delaware both start from $209 a visit. Wilmington, the largest city, prices with the rest of the state. Two services cost more than a standard visit: a Deep Cleaning starts from $289 since it covers the inside of the oven and fridge, the baseboards and the cabinets, and a Move In / Move Out starts from $339 since it cleans an empty home wall to wall.

Price my homeHourly rate vs per visit
Is $50 an hour a good rate for house cleaning, and what does three hours buy?
An hourly rate only tells you what you pay if the job runs long. Three hours at $35 is $105, but the same home that takes a first-time house cleaner three hours takes a crew who knows it two, and the price you were quoted is not the price you pay either way.
Homesheen quotes the visit, not the hour. A Standard Recurring Clean is one number for the whole home, set from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often we come, and it does not move once we are inside. Two of us on a 2,000 square foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a visit of about three hours the first time and closer to two on a schedule; the number stays the same.
So the honest comparison is per visit. Take any hourly quote, multiply by the hours the cleaner expects, and put it next to the Delaware ranges above. If the hourly total is lower, ask what happens when it takes longer.
Delaware homes
What is different about cleaning a home in Delaware?
Dust is what changes a house cleaning in Delaware: four full seasons bring road salt and slush tracked in from December to March, and pollen coats every surface once April arrives.
Between visits, salt and slush dry into a film on entry floors during winter, and the kitchen takes longer to clean since it carries the heaviest foot traffic all season. Once pollen season starts, dust builds fast on sills and counters, and the bathrooms need a closer wipe since hard water and steam add to what settles there.
Hardwood floors throughout, with tile in the bathrooms, mean we vacuum the hardwood and mop the tile on every visit. Rowhouse and townhouse layouts with stairs and a basement add extra floor levels, so a visit covers more ground than a single-story home would.
First visits across the state cluster in March to April, after the salt season and before spring pollen ends.

What lands on the invoice
Is the quote the final price, or does anything get added?
The number we quote is the number on the invoice. It already covers the crew, the cleaning supplies and equipment we bring, and any sales tax that applies to residential cleaning in Delaware; nothing is added afterward, and there is no travel fee inside the service area. If a visit runs longer than we planned, that time is our cost. The only way the figure changes is if you change the order: a Deep Cleaning instead of a Standard Recurring Clean, or a different frequency, and you see the new number before we come.

Why Homesheen
What is different about a Homesheen house cleaning in Delaware?
Three things, and they hold in every city we work in. The quote is one flat number for the visit, built from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often we come, and it does not move once we are inside. On a recurring plan the same crew comes every visit, so nobody relearns your kitchen. And there is no contract: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning, and you stop when you want.
We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment: vacuum, mop, the products for kitchens and bathrooms. Laundry, organizing and exterior windows are not part of any visit, and the city pages list exactly what is, as a cleaning checklist for a Standard Recurring Clean and a Deep Cleaning. We do not promise a spotless home or that we go above and beyond; we promise the list, and if a spot on it was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it.
