Cost by region
How much does house cleaning cost in New Mexico?
A Standard Recurring Clean in New Mexico starts from $189 per visit as of September 2026, and the final number is set by the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home and how often you book, fixed before the visit. Homesheen quotes one flat price per visit and never an hourly rate, the quote is fixed before we start, and to book you call (877) 549-4411. We do not advertise affordable house cleaning; we publish the price.
The map barely moves the starting price: Albuquerque and the rest of New Mexico both start from $189 a visit, so the difference comes from the home, not the metro. Two services cost more than a standard visit: a Deep Cleaning starts from $269 because it adds the inside of the oven and fridge, baseboards and cabinets, and a Move In / Move Out starts from $299 because it is an empty home cleaned wall to wall.

Price my homeHourly rate vs per visit
Is $50 an hour a good rate for house cleaning, and what does three hours buy?
An hourly rate only tells you what you pay if the job runs long. Three hours at $35 is $105, but the same home that takes a first-time house cleaner three hours takes a crew who knows it two, and the price you were quoted is not the price you pay either way.
Homesheen quotes the visit, not the hour. A Standard Recurring Clean is one number for the whole home, set from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often we come, and it does not move once we are inside. Two of us on a 2,000 square foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a visit of about three hours the first time and closer to two on a schedule; the number stays the same.
So the honest comparison is per visit. Take any hourly quote, multiply by the hours the cleaner expects, and put it next to the New Mexico ranges above. If the hourly total is lower, ask what happens when it takes longer.
New Mexico homes
What is different about cleaning a home in New Mexico?
Dust from the monsoon and dry winds that settles on every surface, and hard water that leaves scale on glass, fixtures and tile, change a house cleaning in New Mexico more than anything else.
Between visits, dust drifts in through doors and windows and settles on every surface, while hard water leaves scale on glass and fixtures throughout the home. The bathrooms take longer to clean, since that hard water scale builds up fastest on tile, faucets and shower glass and needs more scrubbing to clear.
Tile runs throughout these homes, including the kitchen, so a visit means mopping and attention to the grout in every room, not just the bathrooms. The covered patio and the pool common here bring in more dust and water spots between visits, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home still sets how long each visit runs.
Homes in New Mexico book a first visit from September to October, after the monsoon dust season.

What lands on the invoice
Is the quote the final price, or does anything get added?
The number we quote is the number on the invoice. It already covers the crew, the cleaning supplies and equipment we bring, and any sales tax that applies to residential cleaning in New Mexico; nothing is added afterward, and there is no travel fee inside the service area. If a visit runs longer than we planned, that time is our cost. The only way the figure changes is if you change the order: a Deep Cleaning instead of a Standard Recurring Clean, or a different frequency, and you see the new number before we come.

Why Homesheen
What is different about a Homesheen house cleaning in New Mexico?
Three things, and they hold in every city we work in. The quote is one flat number for the visit, built from bedrooms, bathrooms and how often we come, and it does not move once we are inside. On a recurring plan the same crew comes every visit, so nobody relearns your kitchen. And there is no contract: weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning, and you stop when you want.
We bring our own cleaning supplies and equipment: vacuum, mop, the products for kitchens and bathrooms. Laundry, organizing and exterior windows are not part of any visit, and the city pages list exactly what is, as a cleaning checklist for a Standard Recurring Clean and a Deep Cleaning. We do not promise a spotless home or that we go above and beyond; we promise the list, and if a spot on it was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and redo it.
